Laserex™
The solution to laser fume problems

CO2, YAG and Diode lasers are commonly used to laser mark, engrave, weld or cut components or products which are manufactured from a variety of materials. Hazardous fumes and dust are produced when the substrate, lacquer, paint or coating is marked or cut. Purex systems not only ensure compliance with International Occupational Health and Safety Law but also deliver actual cost savings to the production process.

Laserex™ benefits:

• Prevents staff complaints about fumes
• Reduces sick leave
• Prevents compensation claims
• Keep lenses, proximity sensors and mirrors clean
• Prevents blurred, faded and incomplete codes and marks
• Prevents product contamination
• Automatically maintains constant extraction levels
• Delivers maximum filter life by using patented technology
• Ensures compliance with Health and Safety regulations
• Keeps machinery clean
• Prevents corrosion of associated machinery
• Avoids external emissions regulations
• Machine is completely mobile
• Reduces heating and air conditioning costs

Laserex™ features:

'DIGITAL' control system
Constantly monitors critical safety parameters and allows easy adjustment of machine settings.

Language free Graphic Display display
Allows easy identification of faults and warnings. Also displays the DIGITAL control system features.

Automatic flow control
Constantly adjusts motor speed as a filter becomes blocked. This delivers the optimum filter life and reduces energy usage.

Gas sensors
Constantly monitors exhaust fumes to detect gas leakage (This is a requirement of Health and Safety Regulations.)

Particle sensors
Constantly monitors exhaust fumes to detect particle leakage (This is a requirement of Health and Safety Regulations.)

Signal to laser 'ALERT'
Signals the laser to report an alarm condition if one occurs in the fume extraction system.

Stop/Start by laser
Automatically starts/stops fume extraction when the laser is activated/deactivated.

Thermal sensor
Constantly monitors machine operating temperature to prevent damage.

IP56 rated
Prevents dust and high pressure water jets (when used e.g. for cleaning) coming into contact with internal systems.

Acid resistant
To combat chemical attack by Hydrochloric Acid released from PVC.

Corrosion resistant
To combat corrosion from general operation.

Dual voltage
Machine operates at 50Hz or 60Hz allowing international use.

Voltage options
Typically 120V, 220V, 230V or 400V dependent on machine.
